If you are a freshman and you have to move from your cozy native home to college dorm room, then you have to think about very important matter. This matter is connected with things, which you can take with you to your new home, and with those things, which you wan to take with you but it is better to leave them at home. Such task seems to be rather difficult, because it is not easy to part with many things, which are very important for you, and which you are accustomed to see every day. Unfortunately, the majority of dorm rooms are not big and every peach of room is very important.
So here are things, which you have to take with you:
- Computer. If you have the possibility to buy or borrow computer, do it. The best variant is to take laptop. It is small and you can take it everywhere. It is for sure that your college ha enough computers for students, but sometimes you have to work at your room without noise and fuss. But be careful with your notebook because it can be stolen.
- Tame more socks and underwear. It is possible to say that laundry of jackets, jeans, shirts and other similar clothes is difficult or expensive; you may not carry it to laundry service very often. But in any case, you must have clean socks and underwear.
- It is recommended to have flip-flops. As you know, at student residences, shows are communal, and it is easy to get foot fungus. Do you need such problems? If you don’t need them, then don’t be lazy and wear flip-flops.
- As for clothes, it is advices to take that clothes which correspond to the climate of the place where you are going to live. If climate is warm there, it is not necessary to take heave jackets and sweaters. In any case, you can go home during your holidays and take necessary things.
- It would be wise to take group games like cards and board games. Thanks to these games, you can become rather popular among other students who are your neighbors at the residence.
- You can take some home reminders in order to feel not so far from hoe. It can be several photos with your family and school friends, your favorite baseball with signature of famous player or your favorite teddy bear.
